I was ten when I first realized that my family was of Scottish descent and although it took me a few decades to actually set foot on Scottish soil, my love for the country grew strong within me.
This will be the story of my exploration of Scotland from afar and up close and personal. This story will start with my childhood memories of stories told by my grandfather and continue through the present, and on in to the future as I plan my return to Alba.
